AmazonSmile is a simple and automatic way for you to support your favorite charitable organization every time you shop, at no cost to you. When you use Smile it can be very hard for people who are donating their time or talents, but with Amazon Smile it’s easy.
When you shop at amazon.com or shop by clicking the smile icon on any product detail page, 0.5% of your purchase price will automatically go through directly to the charity of your choice – that’s just like shopping with us but more so and we won’t even know who they are.

Which products on AmazonSmile are eligible for charitable donations?
Amazon Smile is a great way to support charity. Not all products are eligible for charitable donations, however. The following list of products that can be donated through Amazon Smile includes:
- Charitable organizations (charities), such as those listed on the AmazonSmile website
- Items that have been purchased for resale or donation purposes
- Items with a price of less than $1
How much of my purchase does Amazon donate?
Amazon donates 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to Smile for Charity. This includes every product that you buy from Amazon and also applies to items purchased using Amazon Pay if you’re a registered user of that service.
Can I use my existing Amazon.com account on AmazonSmile?
Yes, you can use your existing Amazon account on Amazon Smile. You will be able to use the same payment information and email address that you currently have for your normal Amazon purchases.
You can also use the same 1-Click settings that you have for signing up for other services such as Netflix, Hulu Plus, or Audible (if those services are available in your country).
How to change a charity that you support in Amazon Smile.

- Click on the “Your Account” tab
- Click on “Your Charities”
- Click on the charity you want to change, then click “Edit.”

If you’re looking for a way to help your favorite charity, Amazon Smile is a great place to start.
